SWITCHED ON TO ART 2017 – a development project led by Sara Dudman RWA on behalf of Spaeda and supported by Arts Council England

 

Through Switched On To Art, we trialled adaptable training and support for arts leaders from cultural venues, arts organisations, schools and other formal educational settings, as well as professional artists and young ambassadors.

Grateful thanks go to project partners University of Exeter Graduate School of Education, Hestercombe, NSEAD, The Sketchbook Circle, Black Swan Arts, The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, Somerset Art Works, InspirED, Taunton Teaching Alliance and NADFAS.

Switched on to Art was showcased as a model of excellence at the All-Party Political Group on Art and Design. We are proud to have taken Somerset to Westminster.

SWITCHBOOK was a collaborative sketchbook project bringing arts leaders from cultural, arts and educational organisations together working side-by-side with young ambassadors on a continuous sketchbook journey.
