Brisons Veor, Cape Cornwall Residency, March 2014 with Jenny Graham

Two artists shared a residency, working with painting, drawing and video, walking the coast path over and over again to understand what happens at the end of the island they call home.

Cairns, rocks, megaliths, a timeless occupation and relationship with the land.

They struggled to ignore the sea and failed.

 

 

 

 

 

The time away from distractions gave Sara and Jenny an opportunity to consolidate ideas about their work. Allowing work to respond to experiences of being deeply immersed in a place was evolutionary.
